Hearing both worlds at once

The train's Quiet Coach is being disturbed by a youth sitting opposite a lady with character. Ear buds pump loud music through wires from his MP3 player, so he can't hear her polite requests that he turn it down. She opens her handbag and removes a large pair of scissors to cut the wire!
He can no longer hear his music, but can hear her. After his surprise and anger they end up having a really good conversation.

What if he could listen to his music and to her? Why not both? Giro control and head movement could balance signals through intelligent earbuds for full audio [eFa], so that natural and wifi worlds overlap.
These could be of soft material inserted comfortably into ear canals using a simple handle, whose head would reduce to leave the eFas in position. No implants would be necessary, and the devices easily removed for safety and comfort.

Sounds alright to me!?
